My Story my project

My first experience with Etwinning was years ago. I went to an Etwinning seminar in Cardiff

to set up project. That was a huge success because the project which was about Environmental problems we did for several year. My project partners came from France and Belgium.

Last Nuffic conference (2026) I got inspired by the Etwinning workshop and became very motivated to set up a new project for my lovely coach class because they deserved some challenge and extension to the regular program. When I announced the idea they became very enthusisatic and wanted to start directly. I got the following idea which I build out with my Turkish partner and we also collaborated with partner schools from France, Austria and Poland.

Bridging classrooms: from my desk to yours (click on this link)

"Bridging classrooms: from my desk to yours" is an interactive digital exchange project designed for secondary school students (ages 11–14). The project aims to dissolve physical borders by connecting two different classrooms through curiosity-driven dialogue. Over a 6-week period, pupils from each partner school will engage in peer-to-peer communication to explore each other’s cultures, customs, and daily school lives. By asking direct questions—ranging from school rules and curriculum to daily routines and hobbies—students will gain a first-hand perspective on international education systems. The project emphasizes intercultural understanding and collaboration. Through a structured exchange of videos, presentations, and digital reports, pupils will reflect on the similarities and differences between their backgrounds. All communication will take place within the safe environment of the TwinSpace, ensuring a secure digital learning experience. By the end of the journey, students will have built a symbolic bridge from their own desks to a peer's desk in another country, fostering global citizenship and lasting friendships. We would like to end with a joint product.
